An apparatus of automatically opening/closing a vehicle window and a method thereof are provided to secure safety and stability for opening/closing the window by controlling the opening/closing speed according to a section. An apparatus of automatically opening/closing a vehicle window comprises an actuating member(10) provided at a vehicle window frame for fixing a window, the window being fitted in the window frame, a driving member(20) opening/closing the window by reciprocating the actuating member linearly, and a controller(30) controlling the driving member according to an opening/closing signal of a user.
