PURPOSE: A clutch apparatus for transmitting power of a washing machine is provided to operate accurately, and to reduce noise in converting the dehydration course into the washing course after using the washing machine for a long time by engaging and disengaging the rotational force transmission member for dehydration. CONSTITUTION: A clutch apparatus comprises an assembling member(110) having an assembling gear part(110a) rotated and engaged with a gear part by inserting a pulley shaft and assembling projections(110b) protruded in the outer periphery; a connecting member(120) having assembling grooves(120a) in the inner periphery corresponding to the assembling projections to insert the assembling member, and a connection gear part(120b) for converting rotational force in the outer periphery; a rotation transmission member(130) for dehydration having a dehydration gear part(130a) engaged with a dehydration gear part of a hollow shaft in the upper part of the connecting member, a transmission gear part(130b) engaged and disengaged from the connection gear part of the connecting member, and a flange part(130c) expanded upward in the outer periphery; a pressure member(140) pressing the rotation transmission member; and a separating member(150) displacing the rotation transmission member engaged with the connecting member by the pressure member corresponding to washing.
