摘要：
PURPOSE: An outlet-port for diffusing a shear layer of a reciprocating compressor is provided to reduce flowing noise of refrigerant gas and vibrational noise of a discharge valve. CONSTITUTION: A hollow outlet port(22) is formed hollow to diffuse a shear layer placed between refrigerant gas discharged through the hollow outlet port and air around a valve cover(23) by difference of velocity due to high-speed flow of the refrigerant gas formed on a boundary between the hollow outlet port and the valve cover. The hollow outlet port is formed to penetrate a valve plate(21) so that high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant gas discharged from an outlet(6a) of a cylinder(6) passes the valve plate and is discharged through a discharge plenum connected with an outlet tube. Flowing noise of refrigerant gas generated by turbulence of the shear layer formed on the boundary between refrigerant gas and the air around the valve cover as flowing velocity of the refrigerant gas discharged through the hollow outlet port is reduced by resistance due to a shape of the hollow outlet port.
