난방 시스템(1)은, 융설 전력을 전원 전력으로 하는 히트 펌프(31)에 의해 가열된 열매를 저장하는 열매 탱크(11)와, 열매를, 버너(44)의 연소 운전에 의해 가열되는 제 1 열교환기(45, 46)와 난방 단말기(5H, 5L)를 경유하여 순환시키는 순환 유로(13)와, 열매 탱크(11)를 바이패스시켜 열매를 흘려보내는 바이패스 유로(24)를 구비한다. 융설 전력의 제공의 중단 등에 의해 히트 펌프(31)의 정상 운전을 행할 수 없는 것으로 판단되는 경우에, 열매를 열매 탱크(11)를 경유시키지 않고, 바이패스 유로(24)를 경유시키도록, 바이패스 유로(24)의 유량 조정 밸브(23)를 제어한다.
