Compact (compact) The power adapter is disclosed. In one embodiment, the compact power adapter is facilitated by an improved method for assembling a ring configuration and power adapter. According to one aspect, the connector may be electrically coupled to the role days (or prongs s) of the power adapter plug to the printed circuit board assembly in the interior of the housing for the power adapter. The connectors serve to couple AC power to the printed circuit board assembly which may be the power converting AC to DC power ring. Connectors to facilitate the assembly of the power adapter, in that reliable interconnections may be provided without the wires, solder or other custom assembly operation. In one embodiment, the base of the power adapter plug of the power adapter may include a metal base connected to the edge (or prongs) of the power adapter plug. Metal base may provide an electrical connection and mechanical support for the day for the internal terminal of the power adapter plug. Internal terminals that are used by the electric power of the power adapter plug adapters are coupled to the printed circuit board assembly with the connectors, thereby to facilitate the interconnection of the electrical components that are used by the power adapter.
