摘要：
PURPOSE: An overflow type submerged breakwater is provided to prevent coastal erosion effectively by having excellent transfer rate and stability compared with labor and cost required for installation. CONSTITUTION: An overflow type submerged breakwater includes a rubble layer(10) formed on the seabed foundation ground, an overflow wall structure(100) installed to the central upper part of the rubble layer to have the same height as the mean sea surface, a footing riprap layer(20) formed on the upper part of the rubble layer inside and outside the overflow wall structure to support inner and outer ends of the overflow wall structure, and many wave-dissipating blocks(30) installed to the upper part of the footing riprap layer inside or outside the overflow wall structure to be immerged in the seawater.
