本発明に係るアルミニウム含有亜鉛系めっき鋼板は、めっき鋼板と、めっき鋼板を覆う皮膜とを備える。皮膜が、コバルト及びクロムを除く遷移金属の塩基性化合物と、金属コバルト、もしくは金属コバルト及びコバルト化合物とを含有する。皮膜の片面あたりの付着量が、0.01〜0.8g/m2の範囲内である。めっき鋼板の片面あたりの、皮膜の、コバルトを除く遷移金属質量換算付着量が4〜400mg/m2の範囲内である。めっき鋼板の片面あたりの、皮膜のコバルト質量換算付着量が0.1〜20mg/m2の範囲内である。
