PURPOSE:To bleach quickly a high-sensitivity color photosensitive material by subjecting the core-shell type photosensitive material contg. silver halide to an exposing and developing process then processing the material with a bleaching soln. contg. an org. acid ferric complex salt. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive material of the core-shell type is manufactured by forming the core of the silver halide contg. silver iodide and forming the shell of silver bromide, silver chlorobromide, etc. thereon to 0.01-0.5mum thickness. The bleaching agent contg. the org. acid ferric complex salt, for example, diethylene triamine pentaacetic acid ferric complex salt, diethylene triamine pentamethylene phosphonic acid ferric salt, etc. is prepd. as the bleaning agent. The photosensitive material is developed after imagewise exposing and is bleached by such bleaching agent. Since the core-shell type photosensitive material having high sensitivity is processed by the above-mentioned bleaching agent, the quick bleaching of the developed silver is made possible. The simultaneous and faster cleaning and fixing of the photosensitive material are made possible by adding an ammonium salt, etc. to the bleaching soln. to prepare the bleach-fix bath.
