PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rubbing sound generated when a hinge spring is twisted and rubbed against a hinge shaft by fixing the hinge shaft for freely openably and closably and pivotally supporting the lid body of a rice cooker, energizing the lid body to be opened by the plural number of the hinge springs and arranging a sleeve between the hinge shaft and the hinge spring. SOLUTION: The hinge shaft 24 for freely openably and closably and pivotally supporting the lid body 23 at one side of a rice cooker main body is fixed on an upper frame 22 attached to the upper surface opening part of the rice cooker main body and lid-opening energizing force is supplied to the lid body 23 at al-l times by the hinge spring 37 whose one side is fixed inside the lid body 23 and other side is abutted to the upper frame 22. The hinge spring part of the upper frame 22 is constituted of the hinge springs 37 for which the sleeve is inserted to the hinge shaft 24, the hinge shaft 24, the inner diameter of the sleeve, the outer diameter of the sleeve and the inner diameter of the hinge spring 37 are set to a fixed clearance, contact at the time of turning the lid is prevented and silencing is performed. Also, when the end part for insertion with a locking hole 36 of the hinge spring 37 is inserted, it is inserted along a chevron inclination 35 and assembly is easily performed.
