PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the electromagnetic wave shielding function of the display device. SOLUTION: A panel 10 and a driving circuit board 12 are arranged in a conductive shield housing 20. A conductive hold plate 16 or conductive material which is provided specially is arranged between the panel 10 and driving circuit 12, the hold plate 16 or conductive material is connected to the conductive shield housing 20 by a connecting means 22, and a driving circuit electromagnetic shield is formed surrounding the driving circuit board 12 as a noise generation source. Further, a conductive layer may be formed above the insulating layer of a wiring board 25 connecting the panel 10 and driving circuit board 12 and connected to the conductive shield housing 20 and hold plate 16 to forcibly ground the conductive layer. Consequently, the wiring board is electromagnetically shielded and noise is prevented from leaking from the gap between the panel 10 and conductive shield housing 20.
