PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prepare character data with images or the like fetched to a computer by using skeleton information, deformation area information and deformation information, deforming a deformation area in the images and generating deformed images. SOLUTION: An image fetching part 102 fetches image data to be an operation object from a storage part 101 and sends them to a skeleton information specifying part 103. The skeleton information specifying part 103 specifies the skeleton information as line graphic information to be a skeleton for the deformation of the image data. A deformation area specifying part 104 specified an area to be the deformation object of the image data affected by the skeleton information. A deformation information specifying part 105 specifies information for deforming the specified skeleton information. An image deformation part 106 deforms the image data based on the specified skeleton information, deformation area information and deformation information and tentatively stores them in the storage part 101 separately from the original image data. The stored respective image data are edited by using an image editing part 107 as needed.
