PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a medical preparation useful for treating slow- or non- healing wounds, especially persistent or therapy resistant leg ulcers, bedsores, etc., by using a nonbacterial plasminogen activator. SOLUTION: A nonbacterial plasminogen activator containing a tissune plasminogen activator (t-PA) is used for producing the objective medical preparation. The t-PA or a t-PA mutant is preferably formulated with a carrier such as paraffin or vaseline into a high-viscosity applicable preparation such as an ointment or an ointment cream. The t-PA is preferably produced by using a recombinant DNA technique in an expression system of a procaryote or a eucaryote. The plaminogen activator is preferably contained in an amount of 0.01-5 mg based on 1 g topically applied composition.
