PURPOSE:To efficiently recondition the molding sand by pressing a roller in the direction of an inclined circumferential wall with constant pressure. CONSTITUTION:A sand falling port is providled on the lower end of a funnel- shaped chute to feed the molding sand, and a rotary drum 5 is provided on the lower part of the molding sand feeding chute in the horizontally rotatable manner. An inclined circumferential wall 5B extending diagonally upward and outward from the circumferential end of a circular bottom plate 5A and a gate 5C stretching inward from the upper end are connected to the rotary drum 5. One or more rollers 14 are arranged in the rotary drum 5 orthogonal to the inclined circumferential wall 5B with a slight space therebetween. A roller pressurizing mechanism P is connected to the rollers 14, and the roller 14 are pressed in the direction of the tilted circumferential wall 5B with constant pressure thereby. This constitution can keep the constant force to be applied to the sand layer even when the rollers are worn.
