To eliminate the accumulation of EGR gas and condensate water in a space between a housing, a bearing, and a seal member while securing a seal function of a seal member.SOLUTION: An EGR valve 1 is equipped with a housing 3 that includes a channel 2, a valve body 5 that can be seated in a valve seat 4, a valve shaft 6 that moves the valve body 5 to the valve seat 4, a step motor 7 that operates the valve shaft 6, a bearing 8 that supports the valve shaft 6, and a lip seal 9 that seals between the housing 3 and the valve shaft 6. The lip seal 9 includes a holding portion 16 with respect to the housing 3, and a lip portion 17 elastically contacts with the valve shaft 6 at a tip end 17a. By negative pressure acting on the lip portion 17 of the lip seal 9, the lip portion 17 is elastically deformed, and a cross-sectional area of a lip portion gap formed between the valve shaft 6 and the tip end 17a of the lip portion 17 is set to be larger than a cross-sectional area of a bearing gap between the valve shaft 6 and the bearing 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
