In the method for producing the beer-like foamable beverage, the total content of propanoic acid and 2-methyl propanoic acid and the content of γ-butyrolactone are adjusted so that the value of [total content of propanoic acid and 2-methyl propanoic acid]/[content of γ-butyrolactone] is 3.00 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
