To provide a boxing device for housing articles by making a cushioning box and closing them, which surely crimps a lid face plate of a cushioning box and a margin surface by preventing a bend of an article holding plate, and prevents the generation of a carton sealing failure.SOLUTION: A cushioning box has a hollow cushioning part which is arranged in response to a side face plate, and a holding part arranged at the cushioning part. The holding part holds an article in a prescribed position in the box by fitting the article into a hole part with the lid body pressed and pasted to a ceiling of the cushioning part. The boxing device comprises conveyance means for conveying the cushioning box, and accommodation means for accommodating the article in the cushioning box by conveying it up to an accommodation position.
