PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel for improving sealability, and reducing assembling manhours to a vehicle, by arranging a positioning means in an inner member.SOLUTION: An installation part 21 of a substantially uniform thickness having a recessed place 20 is formed in an end part of a hub wheel 4, a plurality of bolt holes 22 are formed in the installation part 21, the hub wheel 4 and a suspension device are fastened via fixing bolts, a shielding plate 23 is pressed in an outer diameter of the installation part 21, and the shielding plate 23 has a cylindrical part 23a formed by press working from a steel plate having rust preventive performance and pressed in the outer diameter of the installation part, and a vertical plate part 23b extending outside in the radial direction from the cylindrical part 23a. A labyrinth seal is formed between the vertical plate part 23b and a pulser ring 12 installed in an end part of an outer member 2, and a positioning means for positioning in the peripheral direction with the suspension device, is constituted of a plane part 24 formed by cutting a part of the outer periphery of the cylindrical part 23a of the shielding plate 23.
