PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable composition for an optical semiconductor device having a long pot life, and giving a molding good in reflectance of light.SOLUTION: The curable composition for an optical semiconductor device is used for obtaining a molding 4 put on a printed wiring board or on a lead frame 2 where an optical semiconductor element 3 is mounted thereon in the optical semiconductor device 1. This curable composition for the optical semiconductor device includes a compound having a cyclic ether group, a curing agent and titanium oxide. The curing agent is dicyandiamide.
