PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-way clutch that improves reliability in engagement and disengagement between inner and outer rings and a sprag.SOLUTION: A first biasing member 7 applies a biasing force to an action part 4d formed in a sprag 4, in a direction to bring an engaging face 4b into contact with an inner circumferential face 3a of an outer ring 3; and an inclination angle of the sprag 4 with respect to the inner circumferential face 3a is regulated by retainers 5, 6, and the sprag 4 is held by the retainers 5, 6. Since the sprag 4 in a neutral position maintains a non-contact state between an outer circumferential face 2a of an inner ring 2 and the engaging face 4a, the sprag 4 is hardly influenced by the rotation of the inner ring 2 or the outer ring 3 when the sprag 4 is in a neutral position. Thus, reliability of engagement and disengagement between the inner and outer rings 2 and 3 and the sprag 4 can be improved.
