PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture for a vehicle, which can reliably remove snow or foreign substances adhered to a light-emitting face of a fitting such as a headlight, and to provide its cleaning method.SOLUTION: The lighting fixture includes: a cleaning device 7 for cleaning by blasting cleaning solution on a translucent cover 12 that is a light-emitting face of the headlight HL, a vibrating device 6 for removing snow and foreign substances adhered by vibrating the translucent cover 12, and a timing control device 8 for controlling drive timing of the cleaning device 7 and the vibrating device 6. With collaboration of the cleaning solution and vibration, the snow and the foreign substances adhered to the translucent cover 12 can be reliably removed and cleaned.
