PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new black ink composition.SOLUTION: In the black ink composition, the dye compounds include a blue dye compound of formula (I-1), a yellow dye compound of formula (III-1), and a red dye compound of a diazo compound which is synthesized from 5-sulfoanthranilic acid or its salts, 2-amino-5-naphthol-7-sulfonic acid or its salts, and 4-diaminobenzene sulfonic acid.
