SOLUTION: The refuse sorting device 1 includes a refuse container installation space 2 for temporarily stopping a refuse container 4 containing refuse, a carrying device 3 disposed at the refuse sorting device 1, a plurality of refuse receiving parts 5 provided by the same number as the number of refuse types to be sorted, a general control device 6 performing the general control for placing the refuse container 4 at the refuse container detaching position on the upper part, a refuse type confirmation device 7 confirming the type of the refuse, and a refuse container cleaning device 8. Each grip arm and each grip claw are provided at the carrying device 3 of the sorting device 1 to grip the refuse container, the container is carried to the front of the predetermined refuse receiving part by moving in a horizontal direction by a transverse movement device, and the refuse container is rotated while each grip arm grips it by a rotating means constituted of a motor or the like, thus discharging the refuse.
