PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-temperature pyrolytic furnace capable of treating strong odor generated in pyrolytic decomposition and controlling a speed of pyrolytic decomposition to continue a stable operation. SOLUTION: This low-temperature pyrolytic furnace including a pyrolytic furnace body section, a waste charging section, an air intake, a gas discharge port, an ash discharge section, a catalyst layer formed between the pyrolytic furnace body section and the gas discharge port, and an air altering section disposed between the pyrolytic furnace body section and the air intake, further has a control section, an exhaust promoting mechanism disposed between the pyrolytic furnace body section and the exhaust port, an air inflow regulating mechanism disposed between the air intake and the pyrolytic furnace body section, and a catalyst layer temperature sensor disposed near an outlet of the catalyst layer, and the control section controls the air inflow regulating mechanism and/or the exhaust promoting mechanism by using temperature information from the catalyst layer temperature sensor.
