PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for recovering carbon dioxide by which thermal energy supplied from the outside for regeneration of an absorbing liquid can be reduced.
SOLUTION: The apparatus for recovering carbon dioxide comprises: an absorption tower for absorbing carbon dioxide in exhaust gas into an absorption liquid; a regeneration tower for regenerating the absorption liquid by dissociating carbon dioxide from the absorption liquid which absorbs carbon dioxide; a piping system which circulates the absorption liquid therethrough between the absorption tower and the regeneration tower; a compressor which sucks gas including carbon dioxide from the regeneration tower and compresses the gas; a heat exchanger which cause the gas discharged from the compressor to exchange heat with the absorption liquid; a separator which separates condensed water produced by cooling the gas by means of the heat exchanger; a first piping path for supplying the absorption liquid held by the regeneration tower from the regeneration tower to the heat exchanger; a second piping path for returning the absorption liquid heated by heat exchange with the gas including carbon dioxide in the heat exchanger from the heat exchanger to the regeneration tower; and a third piping path for returning the condensed water separated by the separator from the separator to the regeneration tower.
