PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing machine which can conduct various operations while the printing is suspended. SOLUTION: The printing machine includes a pair of printing units 41A, 41B which transfer the ink provided on the printing plates of the plate cylinders 411 onto the blanket cylinders 412, and enables perfecting printing by conveying the web sandwiched between the respective blanket cylinders 412. The printing machine includes: a blanket cylinder transfer means which moves the blanket cylinders 412 to the separating position wherein the cylinders 412 separate respectively or to the abutting position wherein they abut thereon; a plate cylinder transferring means which moves the plate cylinder 411 to the separating position wherein the plate cylinders 411 separate from the blanket cylinders 412 or to the abutting position wherein they abut thereon; a driving means which rotationally drives the blanket cylinder 412 and the plate cylinders 411 independently.
