PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail end part reforming method for reforming a sunk rail end part, maintaining the reforming effect for a long time, and for lifting the rail end part up to a position having desired height simply and inexpensively. SOLUTION: This rail end part reforming method includes: a rail heating step S6 for setting a scope of reforming and heating having predetermined length in the longitudinal direction of rail on a side having no sinking of rail from a start position where the rail end part starts to sink and heating a head part of the rail in the scope of reforming and heating up to predetermined temperature obtained based on transformation point of steel; and a rail cooling step S7 for cooling the heated head part of the rail in the scope of reforming and heating.
