PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pliers for a hose clip constituted so that an attaching/detaching operation for the hose clip can be surely performed without deforming the clip in the operation in connecting or removing of a piping hose. SOLUTION: The pliers is composed of a pair of members (1A, 1B) having a holding part (S) for holding the hose clip (7) at the tip end. The holding part (S) is composed of a first holding part (2) having a narrow mutual clearance near the tip end, and a second holding part (3) having a wider mutual clearance near a pin (5) for engaging the both members (1A, 1B) from the first holding part (2). A protruded shape curved surface (2a) is formed on the opposed surface of the inner side of the first holding part (2), and it is the shape slidably moving when pressing the curved surface (2a) by abutting to the holding part (7a) of the hose clip.
