PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raw material powder consisting essentially of a soft magnetic powder such as iron powder and iron based alloy powder, which has an electric resistance capable of sufficiently suppressing the generation of eddy current among grains, gives sufficient strength to a compression molded body as well, further exhibits high strength even under the high temperature conditions of about ≥100°C, and additionally, can produce a powder magnetic core of high performance without requiring a complicated oxidation prevention countermeasure or the like, i.e., a powder for a powder magnetic core; to provide a powder magnetic core using the powder; and to provide a method for producing the same.
SOLUTION: The powder for the powder magnetic core contains phenol resin fine powder of 0.1 to 1 pts.mass and a lubricant of 0.1 to 1 pts.mass having a melting point of 30 to 80°C, and further the salt of a nitrogen-containing basic compound of 0.05 to 0.5 pts.mass as a reinforcing additive, based on 100 pts.mass of a soft magnetic powder.
