PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power output device having a system configuration suitable for cases where a motor including a permanent magnet and a motor including no permanent magnet are included.
SOLUTION: A generator 25 coupled with an engine 80 and a front motor 35 coupled with front wheels 82 as main driving wheels are each constructed of a permanent-magnet synchronous motor. Inverters 20, 30 receive increased voltage from a step-up converter 10 and respectively drive the generator 25 and the front motor 35. A rear motor 45 coupled with rear wheels 84 as driven wheels is constructed of a reluctance motor having no permanent magnet. An inverter 40 is connected to a power line PL1 for a low-voltage system, and receives voltage from an electric storage device B and drives the rear motor 45.
