An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a solid or hollow micro-needle and micro-needle of easily manufacturable desired shape.
A master mold is made by wire cutting the plates to more than one direction, and then to provide a base having an array of master mold needles protruding. Size and shape of the master mold needle can be easily changed by changing the angle of the upward and downward cutting of the 2 or more directions. The master mold is used to make the secondary mold by hot embossing the secondary mold plate on the master mold. This is a through hole is formed in the secondary mold. Secondary mold is plated with a metal layer for forming the microneedle array.
