PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinal fusion implant which enables recovery of an anatomical lordosis because both the cervical vertebrae and a lumbar vertebra are usually lordotic and are convex ahead.
SOLUTION: In the non-screw spinal fusion implant inserted from the side into a disk space of height surgically rectified between the adjacent vertebrae of the spine of a person, the implant comprises a main body having a substantially frusto-conical portion having a sufficient size to be able to maintain relative flexion of both the vertebrae by touching the adjacent vertebrae when transplanted, the main body includes a bone fixing means 240' which engages the implant to the adjacent vertebra, and the bone engaging means provides the spinal fusion implant 220' which is wholly of a substantially cylindrical configuration and is manufactured from a biocompatibe material.
