Aluminum alloy cast product having improved mechanical properties at high temperatures. The cast product has the following composition (wt%): Silicon 6.0 to 25.0, copper 5.0 to 8.0, iron 0.05 to 1.2, magnesium 0.5 to 1.5 , nickel from 0.05 to 0.9, manganese 0.05～1,2, titanium 0.05 to 1.2, 0.05 to 1.2 zirconium, vanadium 0.05 to 1.2, zinc 0.05 0.9, strontium 0.001 to 0.1, phosphorus 0.001 to 0.1 and the balance is aluminum, the silicon to magnesium ratio of 10 to 25, the copper to magnesium ratio is 4-15 . Aluminum alloy comprises a simultaneous dispersion of the three types of Al 3 X compound particles having an Ll 2 crystal structure (X = Ti, V, Zr ), the lattice parameters, to match the aluminum matrix lattice. Further, this method of manufacturing a cast product is described, similarly, the metal matrix composite comprising the aluminum alloy to contribute as a matrix containing up to about 60 volume percent of the secondary filler materials are described.
