PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology whereby a wireless communication terminal such as a game machine can efficiently take part in a wireless network. SOLUTION: The game machine 2 is provided with a processing apparatus 10 and a wireless interface apparatus 40. For example, a CPU 42 of the wireless interface apparatus 40 selects an SSID including a prescribed pattern at least part thereof in the case of executing searching processing under a wireless communication environment using e.g., the IEEE 802.11. A memory section 44 stores network information including the selected SSID as a BSS list for registering a wireless network to be connected.
