PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cam device provided with a balance cam capable of restraining the torque change of an operation cam even if the operation cam is a groove cam or the like. SOLUTION: This cam device is provided with the operation cam 3 journaled to a cam shaft 2, the balance cams 4, 5 journaled to the cam shaft 2 and giving torque in the direction for quickening the rotation of the operation cam 3, and load applying means 9, 10 for generating the torque by applying the load to the balance cams 4, 5 at the position corresponding to the displacement part of the operation cam 3.
