PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new safe and effective antiallergic agent, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This antiallergic agent is obtained by including pineapple extract. This antiallergic agent thus obtained can be utilized by formulation in medicaments, foods/beverages and cosmetics. The other objective method for producing this antiallergic agent involves using pineapple, especially preferably pineapple strained lees, as the extraction material and using a hydrophilic organic solvent, especially preferably 50-100% ethanol, as the extraction solvent.
