PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner suction tool having a wide suction width, being small and lightweight, and allowing an agitator to rotate efficiently by providing the agitator with the function of scooping up dust and the function of being rotated by suction air, and sucking the suction air from a suction flow passage provided in the lower part of a wall in front of a dust collecting chamber, and provide a vacuum cleaner using the same. SOLUTION: In addition to the effect of scooping up dust, the role of an air turbine that was separately formed in conventional cases is integrated into the cleaning element 22 of an agitator 20, and suction air 24 for rotating the agitator 20 is sucked from a suction flow passage 19 provided in the lower part of a wall in front of a dust collecting chamber 13. Thereby the agitator 20 is rotated efficiently and a maximum dust-collecting width close to the overall width of the suction tool is formed.
