The present disclosure concerns wall anchors (20) comprising an external plate (26) and an inside plate (24) partially overlapping the external plate, each of the external plate and an inside plate having a wall-facing side (40, 42), the plates being rigidly connected to one another adjacent a first end (34) of their respective wall-facing sides by a cylindrical connecting member (36); at least a portion of the cylindrical connecting member is configured with a round perimeter (50). The disclosure further concerns modifications of such wall anchors.
