摘要：
A multi-compartment pouch formed from two water soluble substrates is substantially symmetrical about a weld line between the substrates. The pouch may comprise a base web and a lidding web wherein the lidding web is thinner than the base web. Pressure generated within the pouch due to the base web shrinking back may cause the top lidding web to distend to a greater extent than the contraction of the base web thereby increasing the internal volume of the pouch sufficiently for the formed pouch to be substantially symmetrical about the weld line between the two substrates.
