摘要:
In order to improve the use of a medical support and compression stocking, the stocking (10) has a woven- or knitted-fabric-type base element (20) which is essentially tubular and can be pulled over the lower leg (90) of the wearer. In addition, the stocking has at least one air chamber (30) which can be filled with air. The air chamber (30) is designed in a tubular shape along the length of the support and compression stocking. The stocking further comprises an electronic unit, which is equipped with a micropump and a valve for the air supply, a current source, preferably a rechargeable battery, and control electronics including a wireless data transfer unit, the micropump being equipped with a valve. The pressure values of the at least one air chamber can be regulated by means of the data transfer unit and software stored in the electronic unit.
