The invention relates to a structure (12) for a cabin (10) of a means of transportation, such as a toilet structure, a kitchen structure or a freight structure for equipping an aircraft, a helicopter, a vessel, a train or a camper. The invention also relates to an installation system having one or more structures and to a means of transportation having a structure installed therein. The structure (12) for the cabin (10) of the means of transportation comprises a flexible fastening element (14) for fastening the structure (12) to the cabin (10) of the means of transportation, wherein the flexible fastening element (14) is designed such that the fastening of the structure (12) can be carried out in an area of relative positions of the structure (12) to the cabin (10) of the means of transportation.
