[Task] To provide a power unit having a stepped automatic transmission in which a plurality of shift clutches are arranged on an input shaft connected to a crank shaft, the power unit having a simple configuration and an axial size of the crank shaft being small.
[Means for Resolution] An engine unit 20 is attached so that at least a part of a rear wheel 18 is located on the outside of a crank pin 34c in a vehicle width direction at a position in rear of a crank shaft 34 and on the inside of a transmission 31 in the vehicle width direction. An input shaft 52 is provided with a first clutch 55, a second clutch 59, a first pair of shift gears 86, and a second pair of shift gears 83. A third kick gear 111 directly or indirectly meshes with a portion on the inside of a first shift gear 58 of the crank shaft 34 in the vehicle width direction. At least a part of a second shift gear 63 is located on the outside of an inner wall 11d in the vehicle width direction.
