The invention relates to a CO2 compressor for an air conditioning unit of a motor vehicle comprising a sealing device assigned to the drive shaft of the CO2 compressor and shaped in the form of sliding ring. The CO2 compressor (1) is characterized by a lubricating device (15), whereby the sealing device (13) is fed a flow of lubricant provoked by centrifugal forces.
