Hydrophilic polymer is modified with a gaseous modifier or a powdered modifier made from a liquid modifier. To powder a liquid modifier, the liquid modifier is mixed with a water-insoluble compound, or the liquid modifier is cooled below its melting point to solidify it. With these methods it is possible to modify a hydrophilic polymer uniformly. When a gaseous modifier is used, the hydrophilic polymer and the modifier can be made to react efficiently and safely regardless of the size and shape of the hydrophilic polymer. When a hydrophilic polymer is modified with a powdered modifier, it is possible to uniformly mix a liquid modifier, virtually in a solid state, with a hydrophilic polymer and to easily control the timing of the modification.

的亲水性聚合物改性用气态变性剂或从液体变性剂物质制成的粉末状变性剂物质。 液体变性剂物质通过制成粉末,对于实施例中,液体变性剂物质与水不溶性化合物混合的方法中,液体变性剂物质冷却至或低于其熔点的方法把相同的成固体状态 , 因此,亲水性聚合物可以均匀地变性。 如果做了亲水性聚合物改性用气态变性剂,亲水性聚合物和变性剂海誓山盟以安全的方式有效地反应无论亲水性聚合物的大小或形状。 在情况下所做的亲水性聚合物是变性与粉状物质的变性剂,不仅液体变性剂物质的所有其基本上在固体状态下可以与亲水性聚合物混合,所以变性时间能够控制,但随手。
