The present invention provides a method for connecting a cylindrical member and an engagement member, comprising steps of providing plural fitting portions pairs each having two opposed fitting portions on the engagement member and connecting the cylindrical member and the engagement member, while leaving at least one of the plural fitting portion pairs, by fitting end portion of the cylindrical member to the fitting portion of at least one of the fitting portion pairs by cutting and bending the end portion.
