The shovel-shaped sensor comprises a shovel-shaped sensor contact probe, a sensing circuit is arranged in the probe, and the tail end of the sensor contact probe includes a connecting portion. The shovel-shaped sensor has the advantages that the sensor probe of the shovel-shaped sensor can closely surround the to-be-tested object (cable joint) when being arranged on the to-be-detected cable termination or joint, signals are coupled in about 360 DEG, and testing precision is improved. In addition, the shovel-shaped sensor is cooperated with an insulating operation lever, so that safety factor of a tester is improved, and the sensor can be flexibly applied to different types of cable joints; and the shovel-shaped sensor also has the advantages of safe use, simple operation, light overall structure, and convenience in carrying and movement.
