The embodiment of the invention discloses a display substrate, a manufacturing method thereof and a display device, relates to the technical field of display, and is used for improving the display brightness of the display device so as to improve the display effect of the display device. The display substrate comprises a display layer and a plurality of micro-lenses arranged on the light emittingsurface of the display layer, wherein the light incident surface and the light emitting surface of each micro-lens in the plurality of micro-lenses are convex surfaces. The display layer comprises atleast one thin film, and the refractive index of the thin film, in contact with the micro-lens, in at least one thin film is less than that of the micro-lens. The display substrate, the manufacturingmethod of the display substrate and the display device are used for micro display.
