The invention relates to a method for inspecting the distance between a water spraying pipe mouth and a test piece support of an end quenching machine. The method includes the following steps of firstly, starting the end quenching machine, and switching on a water valve switch so that water flow can be sprayed out of the water spraying pipe mouth of the end quenching machine; secondly, putting a water passing marking block on the test piece support, and accurately aligning the water passage marking block above the water spraying pipe mouth to the water spraying pipe mouth at a position; thirdly, taking down the water passing marking block, putting a waterstop marking block on the test piece support, and accurately aligning the waterstop marking block above the water spraying pipe mouth tothe water spraying pipe mouth; and fourthly, taking down the waterstop marking block, and judging the relative positions between the water spraying pipe mouth and the test piece support through the water spraying conditions after the water passing marking block and the waterstop marking block are placed. The method has the advantages that the structure is simple, machining is easy, operation is simple and convenient, the detection result is visual and cost performance is high.
