The invention discloses a ship energy management method based on SPSO and QPSO hybrid optimization, and the method comprises the steps: building a mathematic model of a ship energy management optimization problem, and determining the charging and discharging power of a power system energy storage system in all time periods in a ship navigation process through employing an SPSO algorithm; determining starting and stopping states and output power of generator sets in all time periods in the ship navigation process through employing the SPSO algorithm, calculating an electric power system operation cost index function value of a ship under the same navigation working condition of a given ship route, and finally conducting hybrid optimization on the energy management optimization problem through the SPSO algorithm and the QPSO algorithm. According to the invention, under the same navigation working condition of a given air route; starting, stopping and output power of each generator set ofthe power system and charging and discharging power of the energy storage system in each time period in the whole sailing process of the ship are reasonably dispatched, the operation cost of the shippower system is optimized to the maximum extent, and meanwhile the starting cost of each generator set in the sailing process of the ship is reduced as much as possible.
