The invention discloses a shunt reactor fault diagnosis method based on Fuzzy-ART. The method comprises the steps of 1, arranging positions of vibration sensors according to a reactor structure and collecting vibration signals X(t) of a shunt reactor under different pre-tightening force states; 2, extracting the characteristic quantity of the vibration signals by means of a multi-scale arrangemententropy algorithm; 3, constructing a characteristic vector H according to the signal characteristic quantity extracted in step 2; 4, dividing the characteristic vector H obtained in step 3 into a test sample set and a training sample set, inputting the training sample set into a fuzzy-ART network, training the fuzzy-ART network, inputting the training sample set into the trained fuzzy-ART networkfor testing, and correspondingly judging the compaction state of a winding of the shunt reactor. The provided shunt reactor fault diagnosis method based on Fuzzy-ART has the advantages of better recognition effect and better performance.
