The invention relates to an isolating switch, which includes a shell. A fracture structure and a transmission structure are arranged in the shell. The transmission structure comprises a rotating shaft. The rotating shaft is provided with a penetrating-out end located outside the shell. A switch-on/switch-off pointer is arranged at the penetrating-out end. An indicating board used in cooperation with the switch-on/switch-off pointer is arranged outside the shell. The indicating board is provided with a switch-on/switch-off indicating area used for being matched with the switch-on/switch-off pointer. The rotating shaft is further fixedly provided with a sensor at the penetrating-out end. The switch-on/switch-off pointer and the indicating board are arranged at the penetrating-out end of therotating shaft, so that on-site observation is facilitated. Relevant parameters such as the rotating angle of the rotating shaft can be obtained by analyzing and operating a rotating signal transmitted by the sensor. Therefore, the switch-on/switch-off state can be judged, and results obtained by the two observation modes can be verified mutually. Moreover, as the switch-on/switch-off pointer andthe sensor are installed at the same shaft end of the rotating shaft, the unified installation, maintenance and replacement operation can be facilitated.
